Upgrading of HDD

hey guys, i need a little help. im not very IT savvy so i apologize for any noobness in this area.

First of all i have a custom built desktop that was give to me by my uncle, currently it has a SSD and a HDD built in but the total added space is only about 800 GB and im running out of space. i want to know is it possible to ADD another HDD (maybe a 4TB) bringing the total number of HDDs to 3. would that be a good idea? is there anything i need to take note of? i would appreciate the help very much.

2. sata power cable from power supply

1)Power cable refers to your power supply unit(PSU) is there any cable that can provide electrical supply to your hard disk(HDD).
2) On your motherboard is there any more SATA connection for your additional HDD.

Based on the motherboard model, there are 5 sataII and one esata ports.
At most 3 are used up: OS drive, 2nd drive and DVD drive.

alright thanks so much for the tip. I have another question tho. looking at the pricelists i noticed that there is a WD green 7200 rpm and a WD Black 7200 rpm both same size but one is significantly more expensive then the other. google isnt telling me what i want to know so i hoped you guys might know

and last of all: seagate barracuda 7200rpm vs Seagate SSHD ST2000DX001 vs Western Digital Black 7200RPM.

Stay away from Seagate & WD Green drives.
WD Blue: general purpose
WD Black: for performance
WD Red: for NAS
Hitachi is also good but hard to find.

thanks for the advice! judging from the table id go for the WD black but it seems a tad expensive :/

The premium is there also for the longer warranty period of 5 years.
