Hi there, my Combo 2 CIS mobile contract with Singtel is due Nov 18 (21 months - Aug 18). Now I need a lot more data and calling minutes for work. I was wondering if I am able to upgrade it now but was told need to wait till Aug 18. Anyone has experience with this before? Is it really that inflexible? Thanks in advance.

Upgrading of plan can do anytime. Upgrading of equipment with 2 years recontract will only be able to do at 21st month..

Thanks for the reply. Does it mean that if I upgrade plan now, the next time I upgrade of equipment would still be Aug 18 or 21 months from now?

Not necessary.
The contract stay as it is, no change in contract expiry date.
But after upGrade you cannot downgrade.
Just need to pay the new upgraded plan subscription till recontract due.

You can do Early Recontract.
Singtel charge $350 for Early Recontract fees.
For this you can do like normal recontract.
That's new handset and any plan you wish.
