Hi all, due to some power issues despite my changing my PSU to a new one (Seasonic)and yet still could not switch on my computer (might be mobo issue as it has been RMA before) I have decided to put a few hundreds on dollars into an upgraded rig. budget is probably $800 since I think I have quite a fair bit of stuffs that can be reused. Below is my old rig and I will be looking to change a mobo and probably grab a new ODD since the old one couldn't be ejected anymore and looking for any other recommendation.

Generally I play mainly games like Dota 2 and Hearthstone and some JRPG. I bought BF4 but unfortunately rig starts giving me problem before I can even start to enjoy the game. Would be nice if with the upgrade I am able to play it with the two highest settings. It's been almost 6 months since it happened so I just thought it might finally be time for me to do something about it.

My chassis is rusting all over and I wouldn't mind changing a chassis for a newer look. Basically I do not really want to downgrade and is it okay to run two SSD? my 128GB is kinda full and I was thinking to buy another 256GB one or can I only run 1 in a rig? My older rig was recommended by a kind soul here at HWZ so I thought I should come back here again for help.

TLDR; need upgrade rig, priority mobo. Others optional. budget $800. Would be nice if someone can answer my questions though. Thanks!

You should verify your 2x HD6950 graphics cards before conclude dead motherboard. Run the HD6950 in single card mode. Swap if fail.

Seems familiar... :)

Anyway just test both your graphics cards one by one to determine the real culprit.

It might just be you who made my rig. IIRC. Haha. Okay I'll try that when I'm home and hope I remember how to fix those I taken out back. Kinda noob.
