Upgrading PC

Hi currently i'm using acer x3990 slimline pc and i want to upgrade to a better case like corsair cases or cm,is it possible?
Can my mb support gtx 760?
Where can i find gtx 760,corsair cases preferably (Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01) and PSU?I know there's a good place like sim lim,but which store it is?Friend recommend me to go Tradepac
My current specs is
i5 2500
8 gb ddr3
gt 530 2gb
1 tb

I'm new to all this,haha im using the acer x3990 since 2011...just started to upgrade now....

1) I do not think that you can just transfer your old motherboard from your slim line into an ATX casing as slim casings tend to use a non-standard motherboard form factor and thus is highly likely to be incompatible with the ATX casing, especially with the positioning of the screw holes. However, you can try to go around SLS and look for a B75 or a H61 motherboard and reuse your CPU, RAM, DVD-RW and HDD. Oh, you are also going to have to buy a new Windows license unless you can somehow persuade Microsoft Technical Support to reactivate your OEM Windows license for you.

2) Name all games that you want to play.

what are you looking to upgrade?

from what you type here, it seem that you are only looking for casing and PSU which is very strange.

as far as i see from your previous spec, you may only need a ssd and a new gpu and it will be enough

btw what is your spec of your monitor. does it support HD?

i have seem a lot of people buying expensive GPU but they are still using very old monitor which cannot support HD, which is a waste.

yes my monitor support full hd,its big enough for me,bought it as a bundle at expo in 2011...

Right now my intention is to upgrade graphic card because im running gt 530 currently which is the previous gen!

My current case is very very small compare to nowadays cases..

so right now i have to change new case,psu,graphic card....but the issue is ,im scared my MB will not support it..hais....

But you are also going to need a new motherboard, your old motherboard is not going to fit into the new casing.

if you are buying case, psu, mobo and gfx. it around the same thing as getting a new cpu. you can reuse your ram and hhd,but sometime they may give you bundle discount if you buy a brand new system.

i will recommend you to buy at pctheme. tradepac, the ah neh there alway like to tell/bluff people that the part they want is "out of stock" and try to recommend you to buy part/brand which they could not sell off.
