Hi, planning to do an upgrade and totally revamp my current comp..any suggestion for the parts?

Consideration:
1. No overclocking
2. Budget: 2k
3. GPU: 1080TI
4. New Case (trying to sell off my current case)

I know about GPU performance but for cpu and ram...totally confuse. some ram stick have certain mhz and compatible and work best with certain board or certain cpu :s22:.

Honestly would pair it with a 7600k and a Z270 mobo. Kinda tight even then but you may have to either compromise on mobo or casing. If can up, would recommend Gigabyte Z270 Gaming 7 with 7600k. Casing depends on your preference.

Ram wise not sure if you can re-use but Z270 mobo all can use high clocked memories and you should not use anything less than 3,200Mhz for the new setup. That is my recommendation.

No point buying K cpu if not overclocking?

I still advise ryzen with slight overclock, really easy to do nowadays
