Upgrading PC

Hi all,

I bought a ASUS Expertcenter D700SA a few years back for admin and work purpose. I'm thinking of upgrading the PC for games purpose as well.

Was wondering if there's room for upgrade and if its worth to upgrade in the first place.

Monitor resolution and type of game you plan to play ? The system you have is designed for work, has a very underpowered PSU and is low profile. It might be more cost effective to just build a new setup instead.

This PC can only support low profile graphic card which there are very limited choices.
Example Zotac Geforce GTX 1650 Low profile.
Which game are you playing? If for example Diablo IV etc best to get a proper desktop
with a much stronger graphic card.

very little room and not worth it in its current case + psu combo, it is limited to low power low profile cards.

u can reuse the 10700 + mobo + ram + ssd, then buy new gpu, case and psu. u can follow the value gaming pc reco from here for those parts, or even if u want to buy brand new:

Weighing the cost for the setup.

Depends on your budget that is small form factor desktop so
graphic card options are very limited.
GTX 1650 can run Diablo 4 but it will be low settings.

1080 vs 1440 is the monitor resolution so depend which monitor
are you using to determine the right graphic card.

To build a gaming PC will need around $1.5k or you can consider prebuild
PC like Acer Nitro desktop.
