Motherboard Gurus. Can help me with my Question ?
I got a PC last year.,. i check on my receipt, it just label Z790 MSI P wifi DDR5
i am not sure which model is it.. it could be MSI Z790 Pro , MSI Z790 Gaming Pro , MSI Z790 Plus Wifi..
Reason i am asking is i would like to add an extra Nvme m.2 SSD probably a 2tb or 4tb. I am currently only running a 1TB WD Black SN850X (using the m.2 slot just above the graphic card, unobstructed) in the system.
I found out that the other free M.2 slot is underneath my graphic card. If i get a new and higher capacity M.2 SSD. Will i have problem later with the SSD heatsink touching my Graphic card.. both generate high temperature. will there be any heat issue in long term ?
Do higher capacity SSD generate more heat ? if i am getting a new 2 or 4 tb SSD, Should i move the current 1tb (boot drive) to the m.2 slot that is under the graphic card ? And use this unobstructed m.2 slot for the new SSD , If i do so , do i need to format my SDD and reinstall window again ?
