Is anyone here having such a problem listed below ..

Why is that my application (eg Firefox) just switch over to the taskbar occassionally? Is there an option to disable it? It's very annoying when you are surfing or using applications.

Tried upgrading from Win7 to Win10 and after download and "install", upon reboot, it just spun and spun.
Thought it killed my machine...

After several reboots and spinning, it actually rebooted back to Win7 (whew!).

Not going to upgrade to Win10 anymore...

Anyone experienced very slow boot up after upgrading to Win 10?

After I upgraded mine, the boot time was off the charts, I had to wait 5 mins in the windows logo, and another 5-8mins for the system to stabilize from booting.

My laptop specs - i5-5200U, 8GB DDR3L 1TB HDD

reinstall fresh (reformat) instead of upgrade.

You can try "Reset this PC" option to bring Windows to the original state.

If you have never upgraded to Windows 10, then use the key on the COA to install Windows 7 first. You will be able to upgrade to 10 without problem.

If you have ever upgraded and activated Windows 10 before it gets corrupted, then you can do a clean install of Windows 10 directly.

tried to download windows 7 iso from microsoft and i entered my COA key but i get the below screen.

i dont have asus recovery disc and recovery partition has been wiped out previously.

I've returned to Win 7 too after 2 weeks or so. Everything (that I use) worked just fine. Except the OS itself will get freeze up for like 20 secs before starting to work again. Happened every time and I cannot reproduce the incident. Out of sudden it'll just freeze. After that OK again. Tried fresh installed too. Same thing.
