The URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority) has explored the idea of planning for a population of 10 million in Singapore, although it's not a stated goal but rather a planning parameter. This planning is reflected in the Master Plan, which is reviewed every five years, and includes strategies for developing underground infrastructure and optimizing land use. The focus is on ensuring sustainable development and accommodating future growth while addressing potential challenges.

放心. 10 million no problem

Dear all,

If many Singaporeans are doing well in life earning household income more than 14000 SGD. Are they eligible for the BTO? If they are ineligible, what are these BTOs build for? Who are they building for?

Confidence for the future. More good years ahead... Let us take Singapore forward together.
Thank you.

Keyword Draft.

National Development Minister Chee Hong Tat said this was the URA’s most extensive public engagement yet, and that the exhibition brings together ideas that Singaporeans have put forth into a “shared vision” for the coming years.

The irony is SG is too hot and nobody uses all these green spaces. It like our gahmen is forcing the green narrative when it is impractical. Some roof gardens i go to, even at night is deserted. I tot can find piak piak there but too hot for them.

It will change still right, progressively.

The changes spotted so far are mostly what has been floated before.

What to do. They have to answer to the peoples concern about over crowded.

Best solution they can come out with is just stacking everything up like lego

Don't be suprise maybe in future they will integrate malls, office and any low rise shop houses to HDB, all stack upwards also

So they can continue to squeeze more in the limited space
