how to know/check if the product is MIJ?
ask the salesman? can be trusted? :s11:

:look:

unless it has a 'sticker' on the fridge doors to state it so :o
The model with MJI sticker. Validated from manufacturer’s website. Wanting to hear to if hitachi MIJ is good. Or else I’ll just buy Japan brand MIT instead

My 8th yr Samsung fridge still working well but it's capacity can no longer sustain our food storage. Need to change a bigger one. Intend to get sharp. How to donate old fridge that is still working?

Means for 16 years you never buy any new fridge

No wonder Japan appliances industry dying

I don't like the new fridges, all paste sticker big big telling got flammable gas inside.

That’s why I like Japan made stuff. I willing to support them. But must have reasons mah.

If not spoilt why buy? Now spoil so must change it urgently

Get Japanese brand, skip Samsung. Samsung cheap and looks good but dun really last
actually it depends on how you use the fridge. as long as you minimise messing with rubber sealings & power plug, it can last pretty long

my mom is currently using a 375l made in cheena samsung for 10 yrs plus, mainly for storage of excess groceries that cannot fit into main fridge. she never pull off power plug, always switched on. rubber sealings only wipe with damp cloth (with no cleaning agent) every 3-4 months
