i would like to ask anyone to recommend as i planning to get these

MOBO+CPU: ASUS PRIME B250M-PLUS + i57500 ($471) or ASUS STRIX B250F-GAMING+ i57500 ($517)
CASE: Tecware Titan ($109)/Phantek P400 ($139)
OS: currently using W7 64bit
GPU:zotac 1060 3gb mini or ???


what are the other suggestion for other parts???

WD BLUE M.2 is SATA-based ssd. It's the same speed as your normal 2.5" ssd. If same price and your mobo have m.2 slot, you can get that. Save the trouble of routing cables and do cable management. Most of the time, normal sata is cheaper.

SSD like Samsung EVO 950 or 960 m.2 versions are NVME-based SSD. If your motherboard can support, those SSD can run at higher speed, usually up to 32Gbps, much faster than the typical 6Gbps SATA-based SSD, at least theoretically much faster. They are also more expensive in general.

In real world scenario, the difference in day to day usage is very insignificant. Unless you do very large file size rendering or editing, where the files are constantly loading in and out of your SSD, only then the difference is significant. Will it be useful for gaming? Not really. Maybe improve loading by a couple of seconds. Not worth the money spent unless you really want the best of the best or your name is Percy.

Casing wise I have explained earlier. Up to your end-budget. Consider this last of all thing.

GPU I would get the Zotac one for the 5 years warranty. If budget allow, get twin fan amped edition. If budget don't allow, the mini will do as well. Both your chassis choice have pretty okay airflow. And gtx 1060 is not a very hot high end card either. Twin fan is more quiet as cooling is better, single fan will be a little louder as only have one fan cooling the whole card so the fan will have to spin faster to keep the card cool. This is something to keep in mind as well.

how abt the ram? cos i saw kingston valueram 8gb doesnt have 2400? should i stick to 2133 as i also saw the mobo support 2133/2400?

U cant feel the diff between 2100, 2400 or even 3000mhz. If on budget, just go for valueram at 2100mhz.

Also i have confirm the following item that im going to get. But is there anywhere i can check if all this can work and there wont be any issue?

Windows 7 is not officially supported for Kabylake cpu. You might have a hard time installing drivers for your hardware. Just a heads up for you. There are still ways, but you will need to look it up on Google. Bring to Nigel's store at lvl 2. He will help you assemble and test at a small fee.
