Will Amazon Ever Pay A Dividend?
April 22nd, 2020

There is no debating the fact that Amazon has been one of the most impressive growth companies in history. From its humble beginnings as an online book seller, Amazon now dominates the online retail industry. It is also a massive cloud services provider, as well as a movie studio and content streaming giant.

Ultimately, a company has to make the decision to initiate a dividend payment. This is often done when future growth no longer requires such heavy investment. For Amazon, the company still has many new avenues for future expansion in mind, including (but not limited to) media content, grocery stores, and health care.

As a result, growth is still very much the top priority for Amazon. As a result, investors should not expect a dividend payment any time soon, despite Amazon’s rising profitability.

Sanofi at forefront of fight against COVID-19 in Q1 2020
April 24, 2020

Full-year 2020 business EPS guidance affirmed
Sanofi continues to expect 2020 business EPS to grow around 5% at CER, barring unforeseen major adverse events. Sanofi expects the favourable first-quarter COVID-19 impact on sales and business EPS to be mainly offset during the second-quarter. Applying average April 2020 exchange rates, the currency impact on 2020 business EPS is estimated to be between -1% to -2%.

I am proud of the way Sanofi employees have responded to the immense challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. They continue to put patients first while embracing and delivering on the new Company strategy.

Southwest Reports First Quarter 2020 Results
April 28, 2020

First quarter net loss of $94 million and $.18 net loss per diluted share

"We applaud the work of our federal leaders, President Trump, Secretaries Mnuchin and Chao, and the entire United States Congress for recognizing the unprecedented health and economic crisis that our Nation is currently facing due to the pandemic, as well as the importance of airlines to the U.S. economy. The PSP under the CARES Act allows us to protect the jobs of the more than 60,000 Southwest Employees through September 30, 2020.

receive money must por a bit ah? :s13:

"We came into this year with significant financial strength and a fortress balance sheet, ending 2019 with cash and short-term investments of $4.1 billion and adjusted debt to average invested capital (leverage) of only 24 percent. We have quickly accessed capital to bolster our liquidity as we manage through the effects of the pandemic. Since the beginning of 2020, we have raised approximately $6.8 billion through $5.2 billion in debt financings and $1.6 billion in proceeds received from the PSP, thus far. As of April 24, 2020, we had cash and short-term investments of $9.3 billion, with leverage of 47 percent. We are currently the only U.S. airline with an investment-grade rating by all three rating agencies and remain focused on maintaining a strong balance sheet. Following recent debt transactions, we have unencumbered assets worth nearly $8 billion, including more than $6 billion in aircraft. We expect to receive the remainder of PSP proceeds, approximately $1.6 billion, over the next three months.
