Hi all, I plan to spend around 10 days in the East Coast, thinking maybe 4-5 days in NYC. Can someone please recommend me where should I go for the remaining 5-6 days? Which cities should I also visit etc

Get open jaw tickets.
U may want to break the flight from sg to us and vice versa with a short transit to make it easier on your body if time permits. Can consider ANA

Sent from Samsung SM-G920I using GAGT

Open jaw tickets are very expensive....haha

If you are asking about SIN-SFO/LAX non-stop flight, be it either UA or SQ, one word - avoid at all costs.

18h non-stop in economy is beyond my inconvenience levels. I am fine with SFO-HKG 14.5h flights, but 17-18h crosses the line.

I had done the 18-19 hours nonstop flight. On SQ, they keep feeding you nonstop and their economy seats are hard and bum aching....
SQ and United way better than Delta.

You are better off buying domestic flight tickets. They are pretty cheap. Open jaw between these cities sq uses partnering domestic airlines anyways.

It is not matter of having food. On long distance flights, after sleeping several hours I try to get out and stand/walk for couple hours. Sitting in uncomfortable position for 18h is great resource for developing deep vein thrombosis.

These are 30 days fares...not open jaw.
You obviously don't know the meaning of open jaw or you didn't kook at the images.

SIN-SFO//LAX-SIN. This is open jaw. The last image. $1346.60 open jaw SFO and LAX vs direct SIN-SFO-SIN at $1358.80 and SIN-LAX-SIN at $1327.60.

And where do you see it's a 30 days fare basic on these images? There's no indication of fare basis nor rules that say so.

SQ don’t consider that as open jaw as clarified with them a few times. SQ consider open jaw as departure and return with more than 30 days difference.
Different airlines have different terms for open jaw ticket.

Lol. Right. There's no different definitions of open jaw between the airlines. Why would the airlines want to confuse consumers with different meanings of the same term? Does it even make sense?

Ticket validity has nothing to do with open jaw though the lower fare tickets generally don't allow open jaw while the higher fares ticket allow. Likewise, a lower fare ticket usually has shorter validity than a higher fare ticket.

I will most likely fly SQ to seoul and have a stopover for a few days before going lax. then coming back from SFO direct flight. Business class is out of my reach and i feel that premium economy is not much different from economy. will request for emergency exit seat though.

Emergency exit seat hard to get, usually they indicate extra US$50 for that row.

I prefer eva air premium economy anytime, way comfortable and better than SQ.

Hi, I am currently in the US, and a friend of mine brought me to MetroPCS to get a Sim card. The problem is that I am unable to get 4G on my phone, the One Plus 3. Is this an issue with my phone, or should I just ditch the Sim card and get one elsewhere?

There’s 2 different network technologies used here. Metropcs I think uses Verizon’s network, which is different from the one used in Singapore and your phone probably won’t be able to support 4g or lte on that network. You have to get a tmobile or at&t phone plan.

From my phone, it shows that it is using T mobiles network

Just want to check rite, how many of the following items will get me stopped at the airport security check if I put them in carry on luggage?

Bengawan Solo Love Letters, Kueh Lapis, Pandan Chiffon, Lapis Sagu
Golden Duck Salted Egg Yolk Fish Skin

Also is it safe to check in luggage if I'm flying United Airlines with transfer to domestic at LAX?
