Anybody can comment if Woodbury Premium outlets are still worth going if I'm already going to Vegas and Orlando ones?

Woodbury is full of ah tiongs... Buffalo's fashion outlet is quiet... I shopped at ease there without having to squeeze with them...

Tiong are rich today, 10 yrs ago are jap everywhere.

If Indian as rich as tiong u find them every where too.

Want to shop with ease without tourist cannot on Vegas or Woodbury outlet. Must go further ie buffalo. Transport from NYC to buffalo would cost more! Lol

Popular items maybe hard to find sizes esp u are shopping clearance

Haha and the world's most expensive holiday was purchased by a Chinese man. Okay with tourists, just whether the buys are worth the travelling and price paid to go there, especially the time that could be spent in NYC instead.

Patryn, any must try restaurants in NYC? Waaay too many on the tripadvisor restaurant's list.

Hi people,

I am considering going to LA in aug/sept period.

I would like to visit my friend in South Carolina. Was wondering if I should take a flight over from LA or travel by bus through the states and visit different places along the way?

Anyone has experience on travelling through the states by bus? Roughly how much is the cost and how long would it take? a week?

Ive only travelled by bus between NY-Toronto, NY-Philly, NY-Washington. All quite ok. The buses are clean n got wifi so can surf etc. Cost depends on when you book. As for how long, depends on whether u intend to keep it slow? If you have limited time in US, might be best to take a flight to save time.

By the way do you think it's viable to take a day trip to philly? I've a train leaving for boston from NYC at 240am. Not sure if I should spend the day in philly or just stay in NYC.

Time is not an issue for me. Intending to greyhound across and maybe pop by a few states for fun.

Anyways internal flight-wise, what would be a rough estimate of the cost?

Also I wanna ask around how much is it for round trip from singapore to LA? Intending to go in August and come back October.

Different dates different price, do your est on kayak.com

I like Amtrak over greyhound.

Only amtrak offer passes, do your math to see which work out better. Greyhound discontinued the pass last yr.

There is really nothing much to see and do in philly
Depends on how many days you are already spending in NYC. If have time, I think Philly is a great place to visit. We really enjoyed our short time there. Like Reading market and we did the usual touristy stuff of seeing the liberty bell and other historical sites. Their Little Italy was interesting too. Quite a lot of nice small shops. On our last day, we took a tour of the Masonic Lodge there and it was an eye-opener. V ornate inside.

Sorry, I've never taken flight from SG-LA so cannot comment. Think shouldn't be more than 2K? Really not sure. Internal flight wise, I've also not taken but think flights shouldn't be more than a few hundreds bah.

I would have spent 4 days in NYC, and it's not my first time there. But definitely wouldn't mind staying back to catch 1-2 more shows/musicals before leaving. I'm female so not sure if travelling to philly alone is a good idea or whether it's better to follow a day tour (pricey at 159USD). That being said, I'll be alone in Boston too
