Is it possible to buy US Stocks in Singapore or directly in US as a non-US citizen?
If not, is there other alternative ways to buy/sell US stocks via an intermediate?
Any complications that one should be aware of?

Thanks!

Most U.S. listed/traded securities held by non-U.S. persons are subject to U.S. dividend withholding tax (the 30% non-treaty rate for residents of Singapore) and to the U.S. estate tax, less a single/uniform US$60,000 exclusion.

Dividend withholding tax will still be acceptable over stock profits.
