Gold, silver, platinum all still ripping up.

Tech stocks and crypto down. TSM released good earnings, but the stock price is not reacting positively, implying semiconductor stocks are over-owned in the short-time.

Seasonally, gold and silver rallies approaching Deepavali and then pullbacks after Deepavali.

The market makers are letting it go to keep US govt solvent. UST needs to be devalued through inflation in order to repay the debt.

I remember very clearly that Gold price rally hard in 2007 and then GFC happen
Since GFC, Fed has created a lot of new tools to juice the system: overnight reverse repos, Fed swap lines, BTFP, etc.
GFC won't ever happen again. Instead, asset prices will soar in nominal dollars, hiding the real dollar crash.

Heng I throw away OXY at $47, kns now drop to $42. Oil company too reliant on oil price which is very much subjected to geopolitical risk. Warren Buffet stock can also kana jialat jialat. Now I only buy companies with predictable cash flows.
How to decide whether a company have predicable cashflow?

@stanlawj I bought gold miner AEM :s12:

@stanlawj I just bought into HMY and AU~ :spin:
Also added more CPRT and TBBB. 🤞
Gold miners with increasing revenue and op cash flow and reasonable P/S are really good investments during Trump era. They rise when market falls and when they fall they don't drop too much. They are also not that affected by erratic Trump behavior. Glad I invested in a few like AU, AEM and HMY recently when they pulled back slightly. They never pulled back to below my buying price so I didn't buy more. Help to Cushion some of my paper losses from other counters now.

Go yahoo finance search the ticker symbol, click the financials tab on the left , click cashflow, choose annual . Operating cashflow has to be consistent or increasing over time.

Some company got high capex and resulting in operating cash flow more than 1.5x of net income. Then you look at the free cashflow at the bottom.

All bros still a lot of bullets here. No crash. The next pullback if ever it happens will wipe out AI and tech by 40-50%

Deepavali is going to be over soon. Gold silver sell-off started this morning.

Seasonally, gold and silver rallies approaching Deepavali and then pullbacks after Deepavali.

I'm positioning for this scenario: Bitcoin will likely repeat its dip under 200-day MA akin to March-April 2025, creating a lot of bearish forecasts, and then ripping back up higher.
