US regulator threatening to break up google due to "illegal monopoly".
but i dont think will have much impact on the price as these takes years anyway ...

buy on the dip !
Yes good opportunity to add more. This kind of monopoly suit is lame wan and can take very long to settle. Look at Microsoft wan, the stock is way way higher than it was when it got sued.

What a week!
Doomsayers eat the middle fingers again and again.
Where are all those experts now?

Dun celebrate too soon, got some people here think a global depression or civil war is coming, your stocks will drop 80% and never recover if that happens.

Sorry, I was wrong. :p
There's a sinister reason for this US stock market rally. Skamala Harris need to look good for the next debate with Trrump.
If you stay doubtful and nervous, when market is crashed to make Trrrump look bad, you'll be nimble enough to get out early. Personally, I'm watching things like a hawk, never know when the ppl behind Skamala pulls the plug.

Actually the recent up and down on US stocks help me make a few kopi monies as I do short term for capital gains. Only downside is earned USD no convert to SGD as now SGD too strong.

I closed my position on NKE, realised $2250 profit. this is my 2nd 'practice' trade. The first practice being a tiny profit of PLTR.

OnOn, Lulu, UA all struggling tonight but NKE still going strong, so better get out first in case NKE joins them later. If next week drop again, I'll just rebuy.

Is fashion/apparel really a good long term investment? Taste and brand preference can change anytime. 20 years ago I see nike as the premium and trendy sports apparel, now I dun even browse their shop.

Nike is still very popular among millennials and gen Z.
In my gym, most hot people wear nike and lulu.
Oldies, fatties, and out of shape land whales are not nike's target.

Okay? I'm not saying they don't have a target customer base currently. I'm saying there's no moat to prevent another brand from taking over as the trendy brand.

The brand recognition is the moat.
Where do you think their pricing power come from?
Check the most popular brands among millennials and gen Z, Nike is in both cat.
Imo, at current price, it's a buy.

Nike store in IMM is always busy. I am a big fan of Nike apparel, they actually work very well. If you are doing 2.4km run, probably no difference, but when you increase weekly mileage /length of HIIT, you find that small things make a difference. I am willing to pay $59.90 less discount for their running shorts as there is a clear difference to me from say, cheap $25 new balance shorts.

For their shoes, I do shoe rotation so I have a mixture of brands. Nike, Asics, and New Balance.

If NKE drops next week, I will rebuy

Limster, can share why Nike shorts are so good? I want to try whether I can run my 21km faster when I change shorts. Currently I using the taobao $8-10 shorts.
