Hi folks,

Laptop has 1 USB-C port, 2 USB-A and 1 HDMI port.

Was looking at the USB-C port hubs out there. Those using USB-C to cable connect to laptop, why most don't have USB-C ports? If have, is only 1.

Any out there that has at least 2 USB-C ports?

Thanks in advance!

Right now we are in a transition, for example there was a time when there was both VGA and DVI/HDMI connections on laptops, now you only see HDMI. Same thing with USB, when you notice one USB3 port and two USB2 ports on motherboards.

USB-C is the latest and the data transfer rates are amazing. Chances are the motherboard itself is the reason why there is only one port enabled with USB-C. Components are still new and not available in mass yet.

Still, USB-C these days are meant to connect to docking stations. So one is enough to connect to multiple monitors, audio, and multiple USB 3.0 connectors on the docking station at the same time.
