Can or not? Or will still chibabom?

Simple office PC using Intel Celeron/Pentium processor.
Using IGP.

Power draw doesn't sound taxing.

Office comp then buy from branded coy, not DIY.

Unless is own office then use iCute/Vios/Nissin at your own discretion lor.

I see those SME buy those standard configuration PC from SLS shops, and they usually use the bundled Vios PSU in the casing and looks like nobody complained yet.

If failure rate is high, those SME customers would have complained until SLS shops cannot take it.

But of course for gamers with expensive GPU and enthusiasts who love to over clock their expensive main board, Vios sure cannot make it.

Not in the league of decent quality but it works nevertheless for less demanding usage.

Big name is not free of problem either, we are not lack of example for big name PSU failed within warranty period.

As for lower quality PSUs take out other components when failed, big name PSUs failed in the same fashion as well.

Be cautious when using PSUs of lower quality and incorrect rating in most cases, avoid using them more than 1/2 of rating current. These PSUs are using bare minimum heatsink thus using it close to the maximum of the current rating is asking for trouble.

I build before for customer last time (8-9 years ago) using vios. They wanted an affordable $300+ pc. Thus take vios casing w the inbuilt "450watts" psu.

He bought a few sets for his newly set up office at that time, he seems to be quite happy with it. Came back 2-3 years later looking for router switch, he say pc no problems. Used in aircon office

Some office pc never off, they just log off. This type maybe will stress the component of the PSU more since run 24/7?

I used 24x7 for about one year okay. 4770k, 32gb ram, one low profile ati3470, 5tb hdd, 3tbb hdd, 2tb hdd.

Most people here if see this specs will recommend expensive psu,few hundred dollars because they equate expensive equal good.

Similarly I buy those ntuc cheap engine oil instead of shell helix ultra also bo tai ji for my car. Go sgcarmart people recommend expensive oil also.

Human nature.

Last time my office PC use Silverstone PSU also 2 years uplorry. So expensive brands have it's fair share of problems. Just that those vios PSU might not have a means to RMA

There's a difference between using cheap but to spec and cheap and not to spec, even for engine oil.

Go SLS buy another new Vios to replace a dead Vios.

Provided the main board and processor are still OK.
