Using OMD EM10 MK3 in winter, snowing

Hi all, has anyone uses em10 mk3 under snowing conditions?

The reason why I am asking is that I am thinking of bringing it for a February trip to tohoku region, so it might be the coldest and snowfall maybe heavy.

Please advise.

you might want to bring ziplock bag when you go indoors so there will be no condensation

Noted. Will bring a dry sack for it

1. Keep the camera a warm if you plan to bring the camera between outdoor and indoors place with warmer running (example place heat pack inside the bag)

2. Make sure snow that drop into the camera and lens is wipe away as this model is not weather seal

The camera has been design to run 0 to +40℃ (when in operation) / -20 to +60℃ (when stored)

3. Keep your spare battery warm as cold temp will drain battery

I used the em10 1st gen and a Nikon D5300 for a week in -26 deg C, together with zip-lock bags when going from cold to warm, without any problems.
