Hi guys, I saw some articles that BKK has already started using VISA for the train.

Yes can tape and go but not many people using currently.

I still have my old rabbit card but I’m not sure if it’s already expired

if before covid then card expired le... Better to buy from klook the one day pass is more worth it for tourists since now BTS increase prices le

Moi also thought expired already, that's why didn't use it for my last trip in Jun.
But moi friend bought before covid was able to use it in Jul.
So moi going to try using it in my next trip.

Just checked. Expiry Dec 2025.
Bought before covid.

Moi thought can't use already cos there's a clause said if inactive for don't know 1 or 2 years then the card can't use already. But moi friend can use, so maybe they waive the clause due to covid restriction.

I used YouTrip for MRT rides in BKK during my June 2022 trip. Exchange rate pretty good, using prevailing rates of some sort, so the rate could be different between morning and afternoon trips, for example.

for BTS, was still using Rabbit card. Not sure if BTS allows credit card entry by now…

Personally I did not try cos I seldom take mrt. Mainly using BTS. But Google search have results on the pass. U may want to google on it

MRT can but BTS can't use credit cards yet. My trip 2 weeks ago used revolut card for mrt without any issue.
