My Xiaomi 4K UST has been running for 2 years - thinking of going for A300 as the NVIDIA Shield Pro 4K AI upscaling is pretty amazing and wanting to match it with a new UST projector.

Absolutely love the Xiaomi 4K...so much better than the old days of running DLP projectors.

Any recommendations or just keeping running the Xiaomi?

Hi Dreamcast, can I share something with you? There might come a the time when UST won't power up.. And what was found out was the connecting metal I side the UST doesn't connect anymore to the rest of the UST.

So when I sent to mine to my regular repair service centre - Projector Docttor, they already knew.

The pleasant surprise for me was they actually came out a solution that do not require me to bring down UST each time that connecting metal stops connecting.

The solution was Miplate, I think it was created by Jazz Cheong, the boss.. Miplare replaces that faulty metal, and it's lifetime guaranteed

Let me cut and paste the updates:

Great new update Repair 4k Xiaomi Projector Solution : MiPlate - See Video below :

Repair Xiaomi /Fengmi 4k Laser Projector vertical lines , dotted lines , Snow dots , Slow bootup with precision stainless steel plate.
New batch of Precision Stainless Steel Plate (READY IN STOCK) with precision machine tapping hole (ready to ship from Singapore)

Pls email to : info@projectordoctor.sg Or Whatsapp +6594559492 (www.projectordoctor.sg)

Thanks! I am aware of that...fingers crossed that I don't have that issue.

guys I am looking for ust projector for bedroom but those in market in market very big in size and only suitable to be in living room and need to buy special expensive screen.

then happen to found this, it look small and with battery built in and i doubt it will be good since it is small right?

but bedroom not enough space

I was looking at this this morning.

Also looking for something compact for the bedroom.

They have a showroom in Bugis.

But not sure if they have this model on display though~

not sure if I am the only one facing this..

sometimes I go to their website, it is .com.sg, then sometimes it is .com

which one is the correct one? Are they moving out of singapore?

no idea. I have Fengmi T1 and Xiaomi C2.

no experience with Fengmi C2.
They really should name them differently haha Apparently it’s a new one of fengmi c2 but with extra laser but also more ex

How much you got for xiaomi c2, direct import?

Fengmi C2 is an older model. Fengmi T1 is their latest tri-laser.

Xiaomi C2 is about $3500-3800.

I don’t think UST projector is intended for ceiling mount. But if you have tight spaces, you might want to consider it. Not sure what UST projector is used in this video. The owner ceiling mounted his UST projector. Quite nice deco. Too bad never turn on projector.

yeah, UST meant to be a TV replacement, hence u can just put in on TV console and immediately get a big screen. UST esp the new tri lasers are really heavy and not easy to calibrate when ceiling mounted.

The price seems crazy. $7500. I think can buy 2.5 Xiaomi. I had 1 crazy encounter with LG service Center and I will never buy their product again. They charging a premium for price but give Ah Beng shop repair service.
Totally not worth to me

i recently got the T1 + 100" vava screen, and has been enjoying it so far.
However, the OS is really not polished and at times you will face weird glitches here and there.

Some annoying glithces I faced so far,
- Remote control - gone MIA, this happen randomly, and the only way is restart the T1, but hey, u gonna have problem, coz... you can't shut down properly with the power button on t1 alone (unless you want to hard reboot), u gotta press OK from the screen. :/ So at this moment, use the Google TV APP's remote, which is more stable just inconvenience.

- Saved picture profile sometime... gone missing/reset by itself. So it's annoying to have to adjust again to taste.

- Netflix... not working at all. Youtube/Disney+ works flawressly by itself even Dolby Vision.

- Installed Kodi, and work OK reading files from my NAS. Nothing to shout about, but it work so far.

- The sound by BW is over rated. It's loud for sure, but don't expect any bass. They are almost non-existence. Clarity is OK, and easy to hear dialogs.

- HDMI ARC won't work properly with my older Yamaha sound projector... maybe is my HDMI cable, but I have not solve yet, now on TOSLINK, since my Yamaha don't do atmos, so no different, I missed adjusting vol using the remote though.

All in all, this UST basically rocks. I still enjoy it alot, and my son certainly enjoy watcing his cartoon there.
