I am planning a family vacation, period preferably as below :

Nov 21st - End Nov
Dec 18th - End Dec

Am looking at deals such as Groupon deals and looking at HK/Shanghai/Bangkok. Don't want tour group.

Eg.

Hong Kong
4D3N Hotel Stay for up to Four. Admission to Hong Kong Disnetland & Return Cathay Pacific Flights included. $485 nett per pex for 3D2N Hotel Stay + CX + City Tour + Airport Transfer (Worth $988).

Please advise any questions and recommendations are welcome!

$485nett meaning airport tax and other surcharges (weekend) added into the cost already? It's good to call the travel agency that posted that deal to check if the dates you are looking at is available for travel. I try to avoid those deals because of the blackout dates and surcharges.

Not very sure. That is what stated in Groupon deal. By the way, do you think Groupon deal holiday is good? Because someone mention to me Groupon is no good. Might as well source airline and accomodation myself.

Any recommendation?
