Hihi all! I'm traveling to Japan in a couple of weeks time and I was wondering if I need to go get vaccinated? I called the clinic up and they said they only provide "regular flu jabs"

The heck is that? :s22: Any idea if this procedure is necessary?
I don't have any medical conditions nor would I be in any rural areas/be hiking or anything though.
I'll just be lurking in the cities.

TIA! :s12:

cos flu is prevalent in japan, especially inside the flu season

otherwise you don't need any vaccine

Cultural thing. For a Japanese person if they are coughing or have running nose or flu or whatever it is considered polite to wear mask so they don't spread the germs all over the crowded subway train car.
