Going as a group of 8-10 people, thinking of renting a van rather than hire a van driver. Just a idea, as comparison.
Did a quick search of the rental, it's about 300 SGD for which i think if hire driver of 100 per day is almost the same rate for 3 days. only benefit is having more freedom of moving around even at night. driver mostly until 6-7pm, with additional hours will have charges. so all in all, if need driver at night will be more expensive than rental.
parking wise will be a little problem. not sure if within bkk, how's the parking for van? can go to those normal carpark to park? going out of bkk parking should be easier i guess.
