the manager does not even know the basics of programming, he wouldn't even know how to write the prompt.

Ok who code the AI? Maybe just learn that enough?

you know how those leaders of big organisations or even politicians like to spew long passages that nobody reads every now and then especially before some holiday? like a cny or hari raya message from your MP/PM or CEO? in the past whoever wrote it for them had to spend hours crafting that. now? just vibe it through chatgpt or grok and it's out in a minute. even an intern can do it.

even bosses or managers facing tough decision at work can just give chatgpt the scenario, ask questions and get answers that can be quite decent.

What I can say is, there is a lot of unnecessary code when you leave it to AI. And when something doesn’t work and you want the AI to fix it, it pumps in additional unnecessary code that seldom actually fixes the problem.

That said, it is useful to help you get started, but you leave it to AI to create your finished product, prepare for a lot of £@€# ups.

you still need to know how to code.

if not, come troubleshooting, you will tear your hair out more than you have done now manually.

But i'm sure we will reach that time when AI actually can do it flawlessly


I think AI is for people who used it to 10x their productivity at the moment.
not possible to totally replaced them.
