If I only have a budget of 2000 and have needs of 3D animation editing, what CPU, GPU, and other computer parts should I buy?
Generally a GTX 1060/rx 580 is more than capable of handling the graphics side of the work. Get a cheap secondhand or first hand 1060 GPU can liao.
3d animation editing focuses more on CPU /+ ram, generally 32gb if you have cash is optimal, if not 16gb is sufficient.
Intel CPU for this use-case is complete trash for its pricing - go for Ryzen. 2700x or 2600x is good. The more cores-threads, the better. Esp given how much cheaper and efficient Ryzen is in $/core-thread.
Intel is the Apple of the professional developers' world: Expensive but multi-core performance falls behind AMD, yet costs so much more than AMD.
