Video editing for a 5 min video

Using a canon powershot s90 to video 2 people having a convo is a garden for a casual interview.

which video editing tool do you recommend to add in light music, removing background noises, cut/edit footages. Add in fun texts.

My workflow...

Editing & colouring: Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro
VFX: After Effects
