Video Editing Rig Recommendation

Hi guys, I'm back.

My friend is looking to build a video editing rig, budget will be around 2-2.4k. Here's a skeleton I came up with but I'm quite sure you guys will have better recommendation

ram budget can cut in half to $100 and under ... ddr4 not that expensive except outdated pricelists ripoffs

212x is too weak for hitting max overclock
can consider phanteks PH-TC14PE from amazon

suggest you get the 6 core haswell-e

Did thought of Mac, but for the price... I can get so much more out of a PC and my friend specially wanted a PC for video editing and gaming.
