Which video editor are you using on the Mac? Can share why you are using them?

So far, I only tried iMovies but would like to try more advanced ones to develop skillset in this area.

Another one I tried is WeVideo (cloud based).

Look no further: Final Cut Pro X

Essentially iMovie but for pros. It's an Apple software optimised exclusively for macs and you"ll notice rendering times are much quicker than the competition.

Very expensive especially if you are not a student. :(

Blackmagic's DaVinci Resolve is free on both Mac and Windows 10. It is as powerful as FCPX, if not more powerful.

I also looking at this but read that your computer needs to be powerful to use it.

Used to video edit using Final Cut Pro 7.

Then I make a transition to keep up the technology and decided to try out Premiere Pro until today because I'm using After Effects, Photoshop & illustrator as well easier to work with if in the same Adobe ecosystem.

Did try FCPX last time but havent really get the chance to fully try out FCPX, just basic stuffs. But definitely recommend FCPX.

The down side is Adobe decided to go for subscription method.
So my reason is my workflow/ecosystem.

I was using Adobe Captivate to do this. But I understand natively on a windows machine, you can record a screen presentation without the need for any app.

As a novice in video editing, I just started on fillmora. There are a number of things on iMOVIE which is challenging to do, like have more than 2 split screens. I like the effects on fillmora.

Which version did you pay for it?
