But what purposes are you using the overlays for?
A video Recording rig, will depend on what you need. But the main considerations will be SPeed, Memory and STORAGE.
If you intend to use an I/O interface, check with that manufacturer tyo see what to look out for. Some will prefer Nvidia Graphics Cards instead of AMD Radeon.
If just software editing, a general rule of thumb is: If the rig can play currentFPS games at a decent framerate, it is good enough to be a video editing rig..
