Visa question

Hi,
I am planning to go to hcm. Question is do sg passport need to apply for visa or is it free. Also visa is for how long max, 30 days.

Go district 5 china town. they sell clothes at around 150 vnd. but their clothes pattern more like jiu hu kia style.

wow you travel to vietnam alot. Can ask which airline you usually take? Was looking to go to Hanoi, the airticket are like forever the same price one...

i mainly fly to hcmc .

lion air , jetstar, tiger, vn airline all take before.

waiting for vietjet (vn budget airline) to release more promotion

how much does tour like mekong delta tour cost per pax? dont know how much money to bring

usd 20 . mekong delta tour there is 2 types. either u go to ben tre/my tho or u go to vinh long .. different pricing

depends on what ur lookin for actually..vietnam dun really sell dress shirt, but polos and tees are a huge sales for them..also they are more willing to cut price if u purchase more..better than bkk since i went in jan..they were turned off upon knowing i wanna ask for discounts and totally ignore..the attitude is damn bad at those few popular shopping places..

if you have the time to haggle price..do it at ben thanh since almost every stall along the lane will sell the same thing, you can always ask for a cheaper price and wait till u hit a price ur comfortable with. for me, vietnam have a larger variety for what i want, tees,polos,sportswear and shoes..but bkk have to go around cos mostly all girls item

yeah agree with u , really have to bargain with them on the price u need. be firm , walk away when price not right. usually they willingly to cut price , but as usual buy more get more discount lo

sports clothes , i will usually get around 5 SGD per adidas tee . cotton tees try to get around that price also

so safe to say SGD300/pax is enough for juz lazing around + eat + 1 day mekong tour?

more than enough . unless u plan to hit clubs/pubs or go to posh restaurants to makan lo

free 30 days visa . if want stay longer , do visa run to cambodia

just back frm hcm.. spent abt 140/pax (excl. hotel) for alot of food and drinks... the weather is really mad hot.. walk abit wan to die already

usually the hotel breakfast are quite lousy. yet to really come across good ones. prefer to go out and have my meal

The hotel actually provide breakfast, just that that particular room promotion doesn't come with breakfast.

Personally I don't mind having breakfast in the hotel if they provide cos mostly got a bit of international like bread, egg, porridge ... if I don't like their local food ... lazy to walk around to hunt for food in the morning hungry and weak under hcm super hot sun

May I ask normally how do you book your hotel rooms in hcm?

Those who thought of using credit card in HCMC, the exchange rate is around S$1 to 16200 or 16300VDN, based on my UOB and StandChart cards.

Anyone knows if shops in AEON shopping Mall accepts credit card?

I have decided i'll probably go Vietnam...been going Bangkok so many times le..haha!
But where do you buy the clothes other than ben thanh market? Is it better to exchange at the airport? Also can you recommend any family hotels for 4 and tours to mekong?

at ben thanh din really have any tee or polo tee that caught my eyes
but do have the fried lotus that I want
