who needs aircon when the temperature is always under 20 degrees or even lower than 10 sometimes?
you need a heater in Dalat, not aircon
(remember that the recommended temperature for an aircon is 23-25 degrees)

plenty of space at 10-20 sgd

he have to do some homework before go up there ..... plus if go dalat you can take bus down to nha trang.... i think is a must go if you first time, so you can strike off your checklist .

Hihi

Can someone advise isn't better to change Viet dong here in SG or in HCMC? Probably just $500 SGD.

If change in HCMC, better to bring USD or SGD?

Upon return, can we change the Viet dong to SGD in Singapore?

Thanks

if you don't mind ATM charges, you can also withdraw VND at any ATM machine in Vietnam, no need to carry any cash, not sure about the rates lol

Rates better in hcmc..but for $500, no much difference, so change here also can. I always bring SGD to change in hcmc, no need USD so troublesome, still must change USD here.

After landed at Danang I had a private car 300k straight to Hoi an about 30-40min ride.

Attractions there are marble mountain, some giant statue, Temples?
Probably 2 days full days is enough at Danang.

Hoi an, there's old quarters which can be completed in one day of walking.
There's My Son ruins. I took the sunrise tour but the sun is already up by the time we board the tour bus. But we were the first group to enter the ruins felt like private tour. 165k for tour 100 for admission

Rent bicycle and rode to an bang beach but it's very crowded so we cycle further to camtac? Beach free bicycle parking.

Try Cao Lua, Bahn mi, white rose dumpling, mi qiang at hoian.
Bale well is ok but if particular about hygiene or cannot accept oily food then give it a pass.

I would recommend 4-5 days to fully explore Hoi an in a slow pace.
I went in June and hide in hotel from 12-4pm Everyday because of the heat 38degree. Most shops also close during that time. Depend on when you going also

new cards come with some credits right? 1gb for 5k option didnt work for you too?

New cards credits only can use for calls and sms. To use data, you need to top up and activate the data plan, something like our local prepaid main wallet like that.
Why I didn't use the 5k one is because I didn't know it still exist. recently the sim cards under go some revamp. Like, instead of able to last for 6 months, now only valid for 2 months if no transactions. So they changed the data plan activation codes too. I only managed to find the 7k code from the hotline guy. The 5k one i found the activation code when i surfed the website after i came back.
