Its closer to Ho Chi Minh.

My mum has been to HCM at night for work before. Shes says there's not much there cause she went at night.

To respect her wishes I decided to to the Danang one instead. Its closer to HCM but not HCM itself.

Hanoi next time I will book the air tickets first then take leave instead of the other way around.

Lesson learnt

there probably be some small street shops near your area...you can always take a cab down to district 1 though, its not really far off

Well Nha Trang has the best beaches actually.. but proximity to Saigon City Wise.. Phan Thiet in itself is not so bad either , Approximately 4 hours drive by car.

er,, tran hung dao is a long street.. it depends on where your hotel is located, if its District 5, you need to take a cab , if its district 1 tran hung dao street, maybe its within walking distance of your hotel

friends and i are thinking of doing but the ones we've seen are mainly just bus tickets that don't include guided tour and transportation ard the island.. we plan to go in december

is it safe to book tours fr sinh cafe only when we reach?
how to get taxis fr airport to hotel? how much shd we prepare?

beware of taking taxi from airport, we were carrot chopped almost 400,000 VND for the so called 'airport tax' by the taxi driver. Better arranged with the hotel u booked beforehand for the taxi to your hotel

Hi ALL, I am going to HCMC Jan 09 with tigerair for about 200 per pax (2 nights only). I think this forum is very gd, but will not be able to see the 80 pages here one by one.

1. Need direct advise of hotels, convenient, clean and nice (budget is about S$80-150)

2. I heard from my friend that you can find local tour for less than S$20 per day? where and how?

3. If I go F&E, I will go to the war site, historical musemn and a bit of shopping. Of course is to eat and eat their local delicacy.

4. Any suggestable itininary?
