yeah viettel is the fastest and has the best coverage.
if u dont need sms or calls, u can just get a TPG/simba and use the roaming. its 10bucks for 1GB.
if not just get at the airport or u could get an esim.

Have you considered Phu Quoc? Maybe a bit of a hassle to get there as I don't think there's direct flight yet.

PQ has no direct flights from SG.
can take flight from Saigon or take the bus then boat there.

can suggest 5 days 4 night in hcm? arrival & pick up also at hcm airport. 5 days at hcm seems a bit long, should i add in mui ne ? if mui ne , how should i go from hcm and back to hcm from mui ne?

Hcm airport just take grab.
hcm to Mui ne can take bus there or look for those tour agency that does trip there.

ya have grab. but cars abit few, faster way is to grab bike.

Another qn if i reach hcm airport at 215pm, able to catch the sleeper bus at hanh cafe (need 32 mins travel time) at 415pm, need to reach 30 mins earlier, so 345pm.

u reach airport at 2.15pm, have u factor in delays ? time to clear immigration and traffic ?
i can tell u from my experience you wont be able to make it ontime.
due to the immigration in hcm. the queue for it is crazy during ur timing
