Yes change Dong in Ho Chi Minh and not in SG.

There is a moneychanger inside Benh Thanh. They have the best rates for SGD everyday. Better than HA TAM goldshop outisde Benh Thanh. Most tourists dont know this.

Sgd to Vnd is at all time high. Both Arcade and their gold shop/money changer provides good rates. Choose either one that is convenient for yourself. I use the following website to gauge against Google rate. I use iChange as I normally spend via card.

i thought of using trust card but many places there dont accept cc. already have sgd 100 worth of dong now that can be used when i land till i reach hotel so thinking of changing in hcm if rates are better.
can i check what is ichange rate today? can see on app or must spend then can see? sorry new to ichange.

Can see on iChange app. At time of posting, it is 1 SGD to 20430 VND. You can change now and use it later. Mastercard is widely accepted there. I don't have much issue with using card.

dont wanna waste time queuing since the queues nowadays are crazy long, and the ac there ? like not working
so yeah, i would rather pay a small amount and be out of the airport within 15mins of landing.
