Thinking of a trip to danang, hoi ann and hue. Might be solo. Is it easy to diy and get to most places without tours or even taxis? I have been to hcm and hanoi and got around pretty easily.

for your info i saw it way back at 2014..... maybe even earlier.... dont expect it to be complete that soon lol....

Hi, are 5 days enough for Hanoi, Halong Bay(1N) and Hoi An? Anyone has itineraries to share?

Planning to head to Ho Chi Minh in early May. What the reasonable price for the air tix? Also any places thats a must to visit? Thnx :)

average promo price for budget airline HCM is abt 80+ to 100+
SQ cheapest is 186

jetstar last year cheapest was 56sgd, can fly Fri to Sun
few years back, jetstar cheapest was 34sgd

vietjet air is vietnam budget airline ...
they depart at t3 ...
even with 0 fare, their price with taxes is already abt 105sgd

if taking into consideration on checked in luggage, one might wanna fly SQ ..
if jetstar promo price is 90sgd
then u add checked in luggage 20kg @ $21sgd one way , 25kg @ $35, 30kg @ $45... so two ways for 30kg is 90sgd ...
hence excluding meals, your price is already $180...
For SQ, u have 30kg checked in luggage ...

normally for HCM, ppl usually stay around district one ...
is better to take cab which is vinasun, mah ling ...
these 2 companies would go by meter ...
their cab price is cheap ...

for 15min trip, price is abt 3sgd one way ..
they would be very honest, unlike in bangkok, most wont go by meter ...
one way cab fare from airport to d1 ben thanh market is abt $14 ...

Thnx for your advice. It seems SQ promotion is only valid for travel during June but I'm intending to visit HCM in end April/early May. So far the cheapest direct flight is from tiger air @ $170+ without any check in luggage. Too pricey right?
