Hehe not just that...
Vietnam coffee drip drip drip takes 3 minutes for a tiny amount.
Washing the stainless steel dripper another 1 minute.

singaporeans no time to spend 5 minutes preparing tiny amt of coffee all drink 3-in-1.

While it may seem like a novelty for us to gift our friends, most of the time, the pack of coffee powder is untouched or not even half used. =)

I will rather buy instant noodle or nut for friends.

I don't think singaporeans will like vietnam coffee. Their coffee is rather bitter. My family actually dislike the taste.

On the other hand, vietnamese love white coffee. I bought old town classic for my friend. Her family loves it. Even asked, why singapore coffee is so nice...

I've been to hcm more than 10 times, and still enjoyed the place. It's not too far from Singapore, and spending is cheap too. In fact, I'm going again this weekend.

Your activity is different from me, you go look for viet bu, I go shopping and attraction.

same here, i prefer shopping too ... more things to shop
hcm shopping mall very limited, things not very cheap ... unlike in bangkok, full of places selling clothing which is as low as 60b for shirt and 120b for polo tees

you going there so often ... i would usually fly 4 times to bangkok each yr
cox air ticket is cheap and lots of places to shop ...

For most of the jetstar promo, you would see hcm at 70+ onwards ...
hence is good to fly hcm, somemore can fly fri to sun, just tat timing is 1st flight

For bangkok, their promo fares usually is around 70+ to 100+ onwards
however can only fly thu till perhaps mon last 2nd flights or last flights .

I went 3 years ago free and easy.

No rubbish in the sea. Very clean and nice scenery. There's no difference in visiting Sapa during weekend or weekdays ba. But there's a Bac Ha weekend market which I didn't go. Need to take bus from Sapa.

Go halong bay must take overnite cruise and take overnite train to Sapa.

My kids love Hanoi very much.

I was thinking to hike Fangsipian...
