Thinking of going to Hanoi during CNY, then travel down to HCMC. Wonder if there's anything to do during that time? What is the cheapest and fastest transport from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh?

Should have. By 5am, it's already very bright outside and lots of buzzing activities outside. Why don't you take a grab car or uber? Or even a grab bike?

152, 109. what years back? i go to vietnam every year, although i will try to avoid saigon especially d1.

it's the mobile age now. install the right app and you will see everything.

wake up 6am singapore time and monitor the bus movement and you will know the correct time.

Airport shuttle bus the yellow bus? costs 40k?

Bus 152 still ongoing la. 5k to D1.

No traffic 15 mins. Traffic 30 mins.

grab you can, you need to place the pins at start and destination.

meanwhile, you can use an app like this to see bus routes, timing and track bus movements.

Usually if they ask for tips, its lup sup and the masseurs are substandard. The masseurs are not paid a salary and survive on tips only. Its very lucrative business for the masseurs.
