I went to Ben thanh market and cannot find the local Vietnam brand Narcissco leh. help me pleaseeeeee also can shun bian tell me where to get the rejected goods hehe. I went and the sales all damn pushy. I scared ahahhahah

take Grab to bus terminal (Ben Xe An Suong) in D12, cost around VND100K from HCM international airport.
There is a direct coach/mini bus (operate by Dong Phuoc) every 15 mins from Ben Xe An Suong tp Ben Xe Khach Tay Ninh, ticket cost VND65K, about 2 hrs journey.
Once u reach Tay Ninh terminal, there are car by outside Dong Phuoc ticketing office can bring u to any place within 5km for free, just need to show ur Dong Phuoc coach ticket. The bus terminal in Tay Ninh just beside Cho Tay Ninh (market)

This should be goat blood.....I have eaten quite a few of it in those selling all goat dishes restaurant when travel in Viet. never see pig blood doing in this way there, only see those fully cook pig blood.

Go Shopping At Dong Xuan Market

Beer Street at night

Visit The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The Vietnamese Woman’s Museum

The Hoa Lo Prison Museum (The Hanoi Hilton)

Last thing... The Noi Bai International airport is about 30 km away from the Hanoi City center and Hoan Kiểm.
Considering that cars and motorbikes in Vietnam are only allowed to move at speeds of 40-50Km/hr...
It will take about 45 mins to 1 hour to reach your hotel, depending on traffic conditions

was considering approx 5 days 4 nights (is it too long)?

to do some light shopping @ fake market spree, clothes and bags maybe slippers / shoes

eating their local street food

excluding accommodation, i'm looking to bring approx $500 (inclusive of shopping) worth of VND. should be sufficient? i'll bring some spare SGD as well.

based on old posts in 2016, rates are better in ben thanh D1 than in raffles place aracde? still true?

last qns, to change S$ -> VND in hcmc or US$ -> VND better? (meaning to say, need to buy US$ with S$ in sg first)

4 days 3 nights.
Depends what u wanna see.

Mekong delta already 1 full day.
Cu chi tunnels & Cao Dai pagoda 1 full day.
If you wanna visit Vung Tau. Another day gone.
Left 1 day to visit hcm city is abit too rush.

I didn't buy anything in dong xuan. Went deeper into the stalls n wanted to buy a pair of shoes for my mum but the first words that came out of the seller was 'no sell'. I walked away without asking why.

Didn't any anything at old quarters except for viet coffee. I didn't bargain hard n ended up paying more. I bought more coffee from AEON though , where there is a hypermart at the basement
