I wonder whether the Chinese tourists will jack up prices. It was good that I went Vietnam twice last year and most attractions had no queue. In fact, for some places in Mui Ne, we had the whole place to ourselves! I saw that places like Bana hills got to queue half an hour to one hour for the cable car previously during pre-covid

Btw, my Vietnam Viettel SIM card still on sale and expire on 23 Jan, which I believe is extendable. Truly fast. If interested, pm me

Not too sure. It depends on whether they travel F&E or with tour group

Vietnam Airlines does come with meals. Bamboo Airways as well.
Do note that if you are flying domestic flights of less than 2 hours, they will only serve bottled water.

flights between HCMC and Hanoi on VNA, it comes with small packs of snacks and water. usually I am served Honey waffle snack, sometimes its bun, sometimes its nuts

Between Da Lat & HCMC and Danang & Hcmc / Danang & Hanoi, you can request for some snacks as well.

I set my pick up location at the arrival side of the terminal and was approached by the grab driver to bring me to the carpark. I took my photo (with mask on) and sent it to the driver via Grab messaging. It worked for me at both Tan Son Nhat Airport and Phu Quoc Airport last month.
Thanks for sharing this tip! The 'official' airport transfer from Tan Son Nhat airport to District 1 is now 400K, that's twice more than pre-pandemic. When I asked why the big increase, they said petrol price has gone up alot.

Afaik… inflation in vietnam has been crazy during the two years covid.

400K? Is it across the board? A few months back in sept 2022… i took song viet from TSN airport… it was around 250K

My grab ride from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Hotel in District 1 was 128,000 VND on a busy Saturday evening in mid-Dec 2022.

Yup! That’s why this 400K is such a rip-off! Previously I won’t mind paying 200K for the convenience.
