I see, since you book so early, theres good price. Lets say you book around Feb, ex. 13 Feb, the price is 245 without tax one way, almost the same with SIA promotion price, even higher.

As I said it depends on the day.

oh.. probably then.. But i was wondering if should I wait till nearing my travel date then book the flight. Jetstar asia have this kind of promotions. They gives promotions prices to flights dates that is nearing dates. Say the promotion is in jan but u will have to travel by mid feb.

Does Tiger work this way?

i booked mine for lunar new year becos goin back to visit my in-laws. my wife in hcmc now resting for 2weeks before goin back..

jetstar should book early...tiger airways is cheap if your trip is a short 2-3day trip.

Going to Hanoi and Halong Bay on 21th Feb. Need some advise from you guys.

My flight reach Hanoi at 8pm. Do you think i am able to rush down to Halong Bay and find a motel/hostel/backpackerhostel at Halong Bay ?

Or go Hanoi and stay over for a night before proceed to Halong Bay the next day ?

The money exchange open till late night ? Coz i want to change some Dong(vietnam cash) over at the airport once i landed. Anyone has idea ?

u cant book them online
can only book at their local authorised agents which is littered everywhere in Hanoi. unless its the Tet holidays ( our CNY) then i dun think u will have a problem booking the tix

you can get them from street vendors and in bookshops in vietnam, unless you;re talking bout in singapore, then u might wanna check out your local bookstores, i'm pretty sure they do sell it as well..

its more advisable to book through an agent, it'll save you the trip to airport if the flights are fully booked..

Wondering Can make it on time if i go for it? Seems many recommend a overnite stay there, but i don't want to stay overnite in the hotel due to the timing....Any suggestion?

means 5pm reach back hotel. and their time estimates are quite acurrate by plus minus 30mins lar
