there are lots of mini hotels in cau go street ranging from US15-20 per room night, the rooms are small and take note that most rooms do not have windows and are standing showers.

I took up this Hanoi Guest House at 14, Bat Su Street @ USD16 per night... I wonder if you are around that area, care to check out for me and at the same time can snap some photo of it?

Go to Sinhcafevn.com and take a look at the places u can go. Very reliable tour agent.

Tell u a joke, a half day visit to Cu Chi Tunnel + half day city tour of HCMC cost USD8.10, inc entrance fee of USD7 at Cu Chi = Total USD15 at http://www.sinhcafevn.com/Tour_Detail.asp

Same 1 day tour above at Tigerairways cost SGD208.50 http://www.octopustravel.com/hk/Home.jsp;jsessionid=0000bL0Jvw5Xk3QWocfm7kiLtnT:11kvs72hi

Took up tour package with Sinh cafe too. My experience with them so-so. Heard that they are state run tour agency. Tour package for central and southern part of Viet quite ok usually with 2-3 stars hotel. However travelling up north such as Hanoi have to take note. I think they also out source to other tour agencies, therefore the quality of the tour cannot be guaranteed for things like transportation and lodging. Bad experience at Sapa having to squeeze 16 adults into a mini van for 12 with luggages and stuffs! Put us up at a run down hotel also.

I heard clothing is being sold cheaply over there... but i wonder do they have Big Sizes to accomodate to those with a good beer belly... How about bottoms? Like Jeans or Bermudas? Do Any of the place like Hanoi or Hoi An or HCMC sell them? Please advise...

Hi

I'm quite a chunky fellow wearing size 36 and I have no problem finding bermudas there. I usually get those at Ben Thanh or Cholon. Of coz cheap or not depends on how much you can bargain and your own personal valuation of the product.

Think big size should be least of your concerns. Tourist places like HCMC and Bangkok carries a lor of American sizes which is huge for a typical Asian.

sinh cafe worsk with a consortium of other private travel agents actually, not a state run travel agent. as they operate primarily on a open tour, hence there is no guarantee of a broken down air con car or run down hotel... or a human sardine packed transportation ...etc :D:D

its all down to luck..i guess..:s22:
