1. Is it easy to grab transport; bus or whatever the moment we touch down at HCMC to Dalat? Or does that have to be prearranged?

2. What hotels are recommended at Dalat/Nha Trang that is around the same price range?

3. Hotels allow checking in in the evening right?

You should have made a prearrangement for the Dalat transfer from HCM (Airport) to Dalat, unless you are planning on flagging a cab and going by the meter to Dalat instead (4hours drive)

Hi Yar, How many twin rooms and how many double rooms would you like out of the 8rooms Total?

Standard rooms in Elios Hotel - All are double bed rooms with some rooms having no windows and some rooms with windows (subject to availability)

How about std room rates, means 2 in a room with 2 single bed, with or without window?Date 3.9.08 & leaving 6.9.08 morning. Thinking to get cab fm airport to hotel, are they easy to get?

Twin rooms in Elios Hotel - All are Twin bed rooms with all rooms having windows.

Open tour is wherby you/your companions are doing a tour with other nationalities whom also opt for the same tour on that same day and sharing the same guide (English) and coach. Meals and Entrance tickets are self expenses and need to be paid by you/your companions on top of the coach and the guide fee as well. pick up/drop off is at the assigned place which is usually the agency where you book for the open tour.

Where to book for open tour? Can hv estimated rate charge for open tour?
Private tour is whereby you/your companions are assigned with your own private coach & guide and includes meal, tour entrance fees, pick up /drop off point is your hotel.

So it all depends on individuality.. some people are comfortable with open tour while some prefer private tour for added comfort.

hi yar, Elios Standard rooms only have double beds (01 big bed for 2 occuapants)
if you like a 02 single bed in one room, then you might have to opt for superior rooms.

For estimate costs of an open tour , please visit http://www.sinhcafevn.com/Tour_Detail.asp , although the price is subject to change, sorry but we are not affiliated with that agency.

The above agency is within walking distance from the Elios Hotel

Assuming you have more than 10 people, you probably might have to split between 2-3 taxis.

i suggest you finalise the accomodations first as the hotel might not have rooms available if it is booked too late..

wow, that is a difficult question. As the cost of eating may vary from place to place and on what food you order, and the transportation costs incurred..etc..i really can't give you an estimate of how much you should collect from everyone in advance..??

As for your accomodation, please check your pm, Elios is running out of rooms on your scheduled date of arrival and would need your reply asap.

any recommendations what to do on the 3rd day? not really interested in cu chi... dalat is too far... not sure where we can spend 1 day outside hcmc...

Hi yar, i will advise you of the room status on monday morning as the Hotel sales are off on Sundays.. as for third day, u can try Cao Dai Temple which is located at Tay Ninh Province. About 2 hours drive from Saigon

Hi,

I find Saigon Square is also a nice place to shop.
It is about 3 minutes walk from Benh Thanh Market.

It is a pity that you missed Dalat, it is worth a trip there, at least for overnight.
Waterfalls there are just too nice to miss!
Have an enjoyable trip, anyway.
