Just got good exchange rate at the money changer at funan, the 1 beside the lift (1st floor).
Can't remember the name ar ps, brown logo though.

Rate was at 16,000 on the 13th Feb, asked fountain money changer as well and it was 15,625 there.

I'm transferring at HMC, got around 4 hours to spare so got things to do near the airport?

And got any place must go in Hanoi?

Need some old birds to advise. First time going to Vietnam. =)

rate as of current for Sing Dollars to Dong would be around S$1 = 16,500VND , if you change in Vietnam. The Vietnam currency has just being devalued..hence you get more from the exchange now..

Hi gurus,

Going HCMC next month by tiger airways for 5D4N.. Most probably staying at Hong Han Hotel, 27USD per nite for triple sharing.

Want to ask if this plan is ok?

Day 1- reach HCMC morning, explore the city + BT market
Day 2- Mekong delta tour
Day 3- 1/2 day Chuchi tunnel
Day 4- muine
Day 5- back to HCMC, fly back to sg, flight 525pm.

Should i take a night sleeping bus from HCMC on day 3 to muine? reach muine 6am..look for cheap hotel/guesthouse.. then can spend 1 whole full day there.. any recommendation?

we choose mui ne cos dalat and nha trang is further away.. so not enough time to travel.. any other destination nearby HCMC?

Thanks!!

Hair Salons

I am tempted to try one of the hair salons in HCMC, but not sure which are the more recommended ones. Have already dropped Techadd a pm for advice, but if anyone else here have experience on that, maybe can give some suggestions?

I am looking more for a hair cut, hair wash and maybe some shoulder massage service. No need to have a lot of pretty girls like those found in le duyen hair salon. :D
