depends if you familiar with their roads, left hand drive and parking.

I have seen some motorbikes being stolen and at times you need to tip the "security".

Are u alone or in pair? Taxi there is affordable and everywhere if u take the correct one. Insurance will not cover u if u in a bike accident.

The traffic is really heavy in the cities and its left hand drive. I suggest you observe the way they drive/ride especially at junctions and busy roads before you decide whether you want to take it on yourself.

Anyone been to phu quoc?

Just spend my Christmas there. The place not bad. Alot ang mo and you feel like you in little Europe especially when taking the plane from hcmc as 80% ang mo.

Try to stay at resort so can enjoy swimming pool and relax. Can join day and night tour. The night market that sell seafood I believe super ex as cater to tourist but can see the seafood very fresh.

Anything you can ask n I try my best to answer

How much do meals cost there?
And is the road suitable for motorbike riding?

A simple bowl of noodle with drinks cost between 30k to 50k, while a meal at McDonald's cost between 75k to 100k. As a rule of thumb, 10k equates to 60 SG cents.
Sugar cane juice cost only 5k at the road side stalls !
For riding, the roads, especially major ones, are full of motor bikes, estimates 20 bikes per car. Hence, bikes can't be fast there. You probably cruise at 3rd gear through out. However,do watch out when you rides and keep your eyes on the bikes in front of you. Its every man for himself way of riding and they don't look out for you. Also, they ride on the right lane unlike Singapore. They are left hand drive.

The meals is cheap if you dine in places when the local eat. A typical bowl of noodle cost around 30-50k. For seafood at there, I guess must avoid the night market as I feel is confirm cater to tourist although seafood look really fresh at there. I eat at another seafood restaurant which the local dine only cost me 50sgd for 2 person with 2 slices of fish, 1 flower crab, some clams like lala, sotong, fried rice and drinks.

Phu quoc does not have Mcdonald and Starbucks. Riding a motor bike there is easy as there is lesser bike n vehicle. Ride bike to some attractions I guess not recommended as road is bumpy and alot of dust looking like haze reach psi of 400.
