Hi guys, I will be visiting Vietnam in a couple of week. My itinerary is as follows:

Saigon - Dalat - Hoi an - Hanoi

Can I check if the overnight bus trip from Saigon to Dalat is safe for tourists and if the journey is bearable for a night sleep given the rocky terrains?

What is the recommended transport from Dalat to Hoi An and subsequently from Hoi an to Hanoi? Trains? :s11::s11::s11:

Saigon to Dalat overnight bus is 5 hours. Take the popular bus called Phuong Trang, the ticket shop is in pham ngoc loc. Bus ride is 240k dong one way. If u take day bus, its gonna take u 7-8 hours. Most of the overnight passengers are backpackers. So its pretty safe. Just hold on to your belongings when u sleep.
When u reach Dalat, the bus will have coach service to your hotel. Avoid those motorbike taxis that want to make a quick 40k from you to shuttle you to hotel.

Dalat to Hoi An... i think can take bus.

Hoi An to Hanoi... bus ride is 14 hours, if u take the direct sleeper bus. If you take the open bus ride, it will stop u at Danang, Hue and you got to change bus before it finally reaches Hanoi. Alternatively, pls go to Danang (45mins cab from Hoi An) and take a plane (Vietjet) to Hanoi.

Avoid the trains at all cost for the HoiAn - Hanoi leg. Its not safe.

Hi, will be heading to HCM for a week in June. Was wondering what are some of the must-gos in HCM, and perhaps a 1-2 days trip to other near cities/area? Thanks ! :)
