Bros, planning to get lw5700.

Is 42" or 47" better for a viewing distance of 2 - 2.5m.

30% TV, 40% watching shows output from PC (Mostly 720HD) and 30% XBOXing ....

I've got a 42" in my living room now, distanct around 2.5m.
found it small after a month ... so is wondering should i go for 47" in my room ?

Please advice.

That was 7 yrs ago.. in today's term I would say for 2.5m viewing distance, pick 55" as a min and try 65" if can..

2.5m? 75 to 80" if you want to appreciate 4k. It's not the immensity of the screen.. it's whether you can see the details.. of course if you are still watching VCDs, well....

i think 75 is a min... not even 55 or 65.... 65 is ok for 2m but not enough for 2.5m for sure.

At 2.5m, I'm using 65inch,,, after reviewing for 1 year, I think it is worth it..
