I am back with more noob queries. I have gotten VQ to set my sub-domain (which was done very promptly). Now the question is, what can I use my sub-domain for? I guess the answer may not be that simple or short, so I would just like to know where I can find reading materials to find out more. Thanks in advance.

Your VQ subdomain (xxxxx.fibernet.sg) can be use for any remote activities back. No need DDNS. No need to remember your ip address.

Hence, it depends on what uses/services you have set up at home which you need to remote access back.

Alagas have stock already?

Okay latest news I have from them:
CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ is experiencing a global supply shortage due to production issues and ETA is mid-September.

Would suggest calling Alagas Network to reserve in early September.

If you definitely want, please PM me your contact number and name and I will reserve for you and let you know once Alagas has stock.

First come first serve though; if you can't commit when it arrives I'll ask them to release the stock.

This is not in my official VQ capacity but on a friend friend basis hor :)

Okay so apparently I can't reserve for you but the Alagas online store stock status is live so just camp there in September.

If I hear anything I'll update here but do watch the store toward mid-September.

Ah yeah no free TP install i'm afraid... we don't own OpenNet ;)

BUT! We can help you split up the cost into 24 interest free monthly installments. At least not such a big shock upfront :)

because the big shock upfront need to go for other things.
Router, AP, and lotsa storage ?

count me in then.
