Hi All,

Below spec is good enough running vmware workstation with 5 or more vm running at same time or my test environment?
any different on 2666mhz vs 3600mhz memory?

You going to allocate 1 core each per vmware?

It is sufficient. You could also allocate 2 threads (1 core) per VM.

Just out of interest what OS and other software will these 5 VM's be running? The CPU sounds a bit tight to me but knowing what exactly your running and the kind of performance your expecting would help.

why do u need graphic card in the first place? if u want to run purely VM. just get more core and threads and bigger space ssd.

Those are some resource hungry servers that your planning to run virtualised and therefore I would suggest you throw as many cores at the system as your pocket can handle (Ryzen 9 3900X-12 core/24 thread or 3950X-16 core/32 thread).

I would double check your storage requirements because I doubt that this list of operating systems will fit on a 512Gb SSD. Although your only going to run 5 at any one time you will still need to have them stored. Your RAM specs look decent!
